World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is a vital element of equipping your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also offer bonus effects and enhancements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Every item recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it is granted a base damage bonus and a scaling factor that influences other stats. The weapon may also gain a variety of upgrade components that offer additional effects or attributes as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets. They generally require that the equipment has an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor or trinket, however it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be found through the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded by adding a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times, based on weapon's level.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement and is then rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be applied at once, and the effects vary depending on the nature of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area, and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
It is generally recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, followed by armour defense, and then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other equipment. This will increase DPS. This is especially relevant to enchantments that are extremely efficient in increasing the weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players increase the stats base of certain pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, such as an increase in damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as quest rewards.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. The majority of armor upgrades to the next level after an upgrade. This can be done for all types of armor, however certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's strength or defense by just a little. However, some upgrade components can provide significant enhancements to strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an epic item.
Certain upgrades grant specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, such as giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have effect that are passive and can be useful, such as reducing damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance to dodge an attack.
Upgrades to armor may require multiple attempts, based on the type of armor. For instance for instance, if a player wants to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of 59-67. The second attempt will result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor that has the base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The fact of the matter is that certain armors provide significant enhancements to poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, making them extremely useful for certain builds. Additionally, there are ways to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration or the challenger trait to reduce the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different effect tier, and is able to be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potions also have the ability to select a custom color that can be selected by the player via /give. The color will affect the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color of the potion also affects the effects of the potion's particle effects.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions, as well as awkward potions, now have a distinct brewing texture. The potion of weakness was added to the potion of healing in Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be made using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also included is a thick potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue.
